no tolerence!

The last couple of days I have been so cranky. Todd couldn't do anything right and believe you me, he was trying. Everything annoyed me, my patience was wearing thin about every-other minute.
Poor Noah, poor Todd.
I started realizing who the common denominator was and of course...yours truly....
So I started praying about it. "Lord, I need help! What is my problem?" I thought it had to do with the fact that I am still having symptoms (could just be latch on, or rather tear-off issues from Noah) but I don't know.
I was also asking Todd about it too. "What is my deal?!"
Right after I heard that from the Lord Todd came in and said "You know, perhaps maybe because you know what you want to do and all the things you want for our new lifestyle(paraphrased) you've lost sight of what we do have and stopped being thankful."....sheesh
Ok, you got me. I didn't tell him right away that the Lord just told me the same thing but it was good to hear and then get confirmation two minutes later.
I tried hard to work on it, but I was still having a hard time. As I was working on the that I  was trying to observe if what I was eating was effecting me. too I had started adding oils back in and suspected that perhaps I was still having trouble digesting them. I took them out and today I feel like a whole new person. I have energy and patience and feel genuine love and appreciation for my family. :)
It's so crazy how food can effect/affect us so much. I truly don't even believe it. I am reminded that we are spirit soul and body....this really makes me understand how important it is for us to take good care of ourselves. Not only to just be healthy and sick-free and live a long life but for our spiritual well being as well.

de-liver me!!

OK, not really. I do need my liver, but man, going through a liver cleanse is not fun.
I think that it might be the hardest thing I've done on this whole diet. First of all, how is someone supposed to know that their liver decided to rid itself of toxins anyhow? Besides feeling horrible and having lots of gas...
I thought that things were starting to look up and I was making progress, moving forward. I even took Noah camping with my extended family. While we were there Deborah told me to speak happy thoughts to my liver. I thought it very odd that she would say that out of the blue...but she's always good at word of knowledge so I should have known something was going on right then and there.
I got home and went to the chiro and she told me that I looked yellow and should to a liver panel.
Well, she scared some of the living daylights out of me! So what do you do when the daylights are scared right out? Call your mom of course :).
She told me that I was tired (which I was) and I should go to bed....among other things. She called back later and told me that from what was going on it looked like my liver decided to clean house......speaking of cleaning house, I didn't clean the house for a week. My poor husband. ;)
So that was an adventure, I was so out of energy and couldn't eat any fats. And hardly any meat, I ate a  lot of eggs. I guess when your liver does it's thing you should eat very lightly so all your energies aren't taken up digesting. We watched movies and slept (Noah and I)
Once I found out what was really going on I felt quite encouraged. Your liver is one of the last things to detox (so I hear). So alas I think I must be close(I sure hope so).
I have had remarkable energy and feel as though I could do anything. I've been doing exercises and feel like I have lots of strength. I thought that I had really gotten weak. I guess I was just working through all kinds of toxins before because I found there is strength under my flab :).
Today has been a bit discouraging because there is still burning in my nipple. Sometimes I don't feel anything and sometimes it's stronger. I shouldn't be feeling any symptoms by now!!
I had a talk with the Lord about it and I feel like He said He was going to heal me. So I am eagerly awaiting my full healing :). Co-laboring you know.  I felt like He told me in the beginning that I was to walk out my healing, I am a changed woman! Now, I think He is going to heal me :)
You all can believe with me.
love you all!

little breakthrough

A few weeks ago we went down south to Villa Park to visit Todd's family for some down time. It was nice to get away from regular life but I had underestimated the amount of time I spend in the kitchen preparing and eating food! Plus being on vacation with a little one is a lot different than when it was just the two of us. We had some sorting out to do as far as letting each-other have times of rest while one would take Noah. We had some good communicating about all that :).
It's so weird to think of life before The Noodle, I can hardly remember, and it was only eight months ago...well kind of ;) I wouldn't change a thing though, we are very blessed.
Anyhow, I had a little breakthrough while we were there with the diet. Todd's parents offered to stay home with Noah while she napped so that Todd and I could go for a little hike together. I've been so weak lately Todd promised to walk slow if I needed him to. As we were going up the hill I felt a burn in all my muscles. Of course I've felt "the burn" before but this time it really felt good. You always hear that "feel the burn!" well, I would always push through that feeling because it wasn't a good one, but I had nothing to compare it to. This time, it felt so good to just keep moving onward upward faster and faster. I could hear Todd next to me struggling for breath, I told him "I could go faster!" he encouraged me to do so and I speed walked up the rest of the hill. It felt so good and when I got to the top I got a high. I couldn't believe how good I felt, I was a bit shaky because I hadn't been used to that kind of exercise in a long time, but man, it felt good. I haven't felt like that in years! Even when I was running very regularly for a year or so I didn't feel that good. I think the last time I felt like that was when I was a little kid, I can't wait to be able to feel that way a lot more often!

new direction

I am encouraged because I feel like this second half of the diet is going to be focused more on getting stronger. It's cool to see for myself that when I put my mind to something I really can do it. My used-to-be flabby will is being strengthened and gaining momentum. :)
As I was doing my almost daily ritual of looking at yummy desserts that I can't have. I was kind of getting sick of it. And instead started looking at some fitness stuff. Different sayings and also pictures of women who are physically fit and it really helped me. I feel like my focus really changed. I started walking and doing a bit of cardio and I already feel better. I think that it helps push the toxins through my muscles. And it's nice to feel tired at night because I was doing something not because I feel achy and gross.
One thing I've learned from that, though I've heard it all my life, is: What you focus on will change you. I never really believed that that was true. I didn't think that we could really be that weak. I can see though that things (life movies) that I knew had no real relevance to my life did in fact tweak the way I thought about things. It wasn't until today that I realized that, because of the shift with my focus on exercise. It's exciting and yet daunting. It makes me really want to focus on the right things more and more.
I think that the symptoms are gone from my nipples, completely. That feels like such a relief. So now I just need to start feeling really good, which shows I am really on the way to recovery!! That feels sooooooo nice!
It's kind of hard figuring out what to give Noah because she can't have the usual mashed banana or fruit anything. I've given her avocado and she still doesn't like it. She is so funny, she'll give me this huge grin and start gagging. :) But she's still gaining weight and doing great so that's good.
I am so glad to be able to write a happier blog, last week felt so hard and uphill, but this week is feeling so great! Praise the Lord!
Thanks for your encouragement and cheering me on, it really helps.
loves!

amendment

The last post I wrote turned out to not be so bad. I made the cauliflower fritters the next day but just made them like pancakes and Todd liked them and I loved them. So, I was quite happy with them. I just finished the last one tonight...yummy!

bombed!

tonight I tried making this recipe...
 don't they look so yummy?
so inviting...."eat me!", they say.
Well, I made this
Hmmm, you see I can tell the difference.
and I used my precious ingredients, that are even more precious now that I am trying to stay on a budget. The reason they turned out bad is because I used something to replace the eggs (arrowroot just didn't cut it!)...and didn't have cardamom, or mint.....I used coconut flour (that might not have been that bad though) and didn't use enough oil to fry them. Because like I told you before, my ingredients are quite presh. :) To top it all off I have lots more of the "batter" in my fridge. probably waiting to go bad so that I can throw it away because I can't throw it away right now.
But, instead of crying I laughed....so that's good. That is my story for the day!

over half way there!

I guess this is the hard part of the diet (for a blog anyhow). Just the day-in, day-out eating and going on with life. Recently I've given up fats for a time. I think that my liver is congested so I am trying this to see if I feel better and my liver will de-congest. ;) I get tired after I eat and have some other not nice things going on.
Man, it just feels like I am giving up more and more things. And I've been wondering if I've been eating too much again. It can be disheartening trying to make sure I am doing everything the right way. This week has been a bit trying. I thought I was detoxing (once again) but in fact I was just dehydrated.
So I am downing the water and hoping it doesn't come out of my eyeballs :).
I just realized that this is my 49th day of the diet. Lord willing, only 41 days to go! That is very exciting. On the other hand, I hate when I know exactly what day I'm on because that seems to make it go by slower, but in reality it feels like it's going by pretty swiftly. PTL!!
I understand that I needed to walk this out so that my lifestyle would change but, God, can I be healed now?? :) I want my energy back. The diet is supposed to make you have LOTS of energy so I'm just waiting on that!!
Perhaps I need to exercise, I do, but it's kind of hit or miss. I haven't been able to push myself to do it when I am feeling lousy.
Ok, ok, this shouldn't be a downer blog. I just made brussels sprouts and absolutely love them!! I've never made them before but I tried this recipe off of pinterest and duuuuude, they are sooooo good. I made two pounds of them for dinner. Todd loved them too and I polished the rest off for lunch. I want to make them again soon! You should too!
Noah is doing great, teething and also climbing on everything and anything she can get her hands on. Todd is working a lot, like usual and we are almost ready for the school year to start.
We just started looking at our finances and trying to kind of live on a budget....oh boy. I'm excited about the challenge and "gulp" at it as well :)
Well my peeps. I think I'm signing off. Thanks for tuning in. Love you!

day-to-day

Yesterday I woke up with a rash on my arms and stomach. It kind of freaked me out a bit, but I re-read the chapter in the book about cleansing and rash is listed in there, so that is good. :) I still have it today and it's kind of lessened (not so pronounced) but is covering more of my body. I hope this means that it's nearing the end.
Who really knows how long cleansing will take?...as it is different for every person.
I've started exercising again. That shows me that I am really feeling better, wonderful! :) I'm still looking at desserts a lot on Pinterest. They are really losing their appeal to me and I am quite grossed out at how much food coloring is in food.
I am so hungry these days, and it's hard to keep the rule that you can only eat till you are 80% full so that you will have room to digest.
It's been pretty weird emotionally. It's really easy for me to take offense at Todd(sorry babe!), but at the same time I feel more peaceful and satisfied as a whole. Although more mellow, I guess that makes sense, I'm not really having any kind of highs and lows because of food/coffee/sugar.
Noah has been doing great. I think she must be over the cleansing part herself. She makes me so proud. She scoots everywhere, swimmer style. She smiles for the camera and has started to understand about things she can't have. We left her with Amanda Evans for my birthday so that we could go to the lake and do stand-up longboarding and she did so well! She played and was happy the whole time and went to sleep like a champ. This morning on her seventh month birthday she said "Dada" for the first time! And when Todd clapped and said "yay" she clapped too. She makes this momma's heart happy. :)
I feel like I have lots of good momentum and feel stronger internally every day. A question I still have is, "Do I really have it in me to completely change our eating lifestyle forever?". It won't be The Body Ecology Diet but I really want to be making a lot more of our food instead of buying boxed things. I want us to be a very healthy family and live long disease-free lives. I'm only just over a third of the way there, so perhaps I will be feeling stronger and stronger in this decision as the days go by...I hope ;)
Love you all, thanks for reading!

thus far

So it's been some time since I've posted. Time just has a way of flying by.
Well, let's see, the diet has been going fine. I've just been plugging away at it. I did cheat once (a couple weeks ago), I ate popcorn (that I could have) all by itself. I should have eaten it with 80% veggies.
I had somehow tricked myself into thinking that I could do it without adverse effect(that maybe I was healed?). Well, the next day I felt the burning shooting across my boob. And not to mention the fact that when I fessed up to Todd we had "words" :).
But it was actually pretty cool, I processed a lot about it and feel like I came out more committed than I had been before. And more determined to be able to walk out my healing with the Lord.
I also read in the book that I need to be symptom free for three straight months in order to be off the diet. I called the BED people and really it's at your discretion(PHHHHEEW!!). It could be one more month, could be ten.....needless to say, I am praying that in three months I will be healed!
It is so interesting doing this because I started to feel wonderful. With that I started working out again, going for walks, cleaning the house, cooking more creatively. Then bam!, I started cleansing again. Lots of wonderful symptoms popped up and I felt like dooky. It lasted about five days. I feel better now but it's just crazy all the layers of healing.
I am encouraged though, when I can get in the right frame of mind. Sometimes It's hard to remember during the cleansing times that this is actually making me better. :)
I've has some requests for what I've been eating, So here are some pics I've taken to share.
"vanilla pudding"
made with agar flakes, stevia, yellow, squash, lecithin and some other stuff?? :)

sauerkraut

curried onions, polenta and sauerkraut
this was actually SO good!

"carrot cake oatmeal"
made with carrots, xanthan gum(to hold it together),  cinnamon and stevia
I love eating this for breakfast!

kefir ice-cream
made with a culture starter, raw milk and some flavored stevia

green juice
don't remember what was in this
probably some leafy green veggie, cucumber, green apple and something else :)

basil salad
made with soaked almonds and olive oil, no cheese

kale and carrot chips

amaranth pizza
made with onions, quinoa, spinach and amaranth flour dough

sauted garlic, carrot, zucchini with an egg

This is just of couple things that I've made up or gotten from the recipe book. It's fun to explore new things and learn how to use different spices. :)
Love you all, hope all is well in your lives. :) Until next time

feel good

Well,  It's been longer than a week since my last update....sorry about that.
I am feeling so much better, I think my body is getting used to all this crazy stuff :)
Although, after I got the colonics I didn't go number two for four days! And on the fourth day I asked my chiropractor (haha, something wrong with this picture??..she knows a lot about natural remedies) and she suggested a couple things but then suggested a coffee enema.....
If I knew that I was going to do these things even a year ago I think I would have thought I was a freak, alas, I really want to get better and I suppose that is what is driving me to all of this.
It worked, of course. After that, I finally got a hold of the lady who did the colonics and she said that I need to drink a gallon of water a day. Because I am nursing and not eating any fruit I just need that extra liquid. Well, I am happy to report that I am..ahem...more than regular.
The other part about this whole thing that has been hard is that I feel even more emotional than when I was pregnant. Todd can easily (more than the usual easily) hurt my feelings. Poor guy. He told me the other day that he misses his wife and to top it off I guess I am also super mellow.
That makes sense because nothing I am having should spike my sugar level so that would make me pretty even-keel.
This brings me to a question- What am I going to do after these three months are up?
I want to be healthy but for real, I look at sweets on pinterest all the time. I don't want to go crazy when I get off of this thing. I know that my lifestyle needs to change, but to what end??!!
I will be excited when I get to have fruits again...how how glorious will that day be!
It seems like it's the season to do new things though. Like we are transitioning and there's grace for it. If you want to change something I think it would be good to do it now, hop on the moving bus that's gaining momentum!!..I'll take that for myself :)
Ok, I guess this blog is a bit of my random ramblings but I wanted to give an update :)
Peace out y'all!

ouch!!

Wow, so today is not a good day. I woke up last night to feed Noah and I could hardly hold still the whole time she was nursing. All my muscles were just buzzing and felt tight. I put her to bed and almost blacked out.
I drank about two glasses of water and then went back to bed to only lay there for an hour(?). I was tossing and turning. My back hurt and my whole body was on edge. My stomach hurt too. I was too hot and noticed that Todd put on his blankets so it must just be me...then I was too cold.
It kind of scared me a bit, feeling this way all of a sudden. I did some stretches and felt a bit better. I think I finally lolled off to sleep. I woke up later at six and felt bad then too, I drank two more glasses of water and slept on the couch to wait for Sarah to get here because I am watching Ashlynn today.
All morning long it has just been hard, but I made some juice and started feeling better. I read that it’s all detox and I just need to focus on drinking more water and keep the cleansing flowing. It also said that the worse it is, the seemingly faster and better you heal. I am pleased to find that out, because it also said that some people could take months to fully detox! No thanks!!
In one way I am encouraged, because I thought for sure when I got the colonics I would see yeast, but because I didn’t I was beginning to think that perhaps this is all in vain.
Well, last night showed me that it’s not. Also, my little Noodle (Noah) has pooped out some weird mucus looking poo which is yeast. So those are some good results for me :). I want this yeast to be gone for Noah and also that none of my other babies would get it!
The yeast infection that I got vaginally cleared up by itself in three days. So that is also very cool. It’s just hard to feel this way when I am wanting to function as wife and mom. I know that it’s only temporary so that is very helpful. I am feeling bad so I can feel better!! :)
Thanks for all your encouragement. It really helps me :)
Please stand by

deuce

Well, I made it through. I did two rounds of colonics and survived :). Actually I must not have been so gaseous because this time was much better. It still reminded me of pregnancy though, towards the end when the baby is squashing your intestines...not the whole time, just when she pumps you full of water.
I got all cleared out though, so that's great. She told me about how some people with big problems have to go back five times in a row. Also some people go every four to six weeks....sheesh! But, that has to do with them choosing to not eat right and other factors such as a weak colon(I think).
I am glad I did that. I guess if I had a lot of yeast it would have come out, but there was no sign of yeast anywhere, so that is a relief. I guess it's just in my stomach and Kris said that it should clean out pretty easily. I am very excited about that :)
I do feel strange. The back of my head and neck feel all cool and at times I feel high. It is seriously trippy. It feels like one of those "I know the meaning of life!" kind of moments.
I kind of wonder if God healed me some because if I had yeast as long as I thought I did (because you can have it without it even breaking out) I would think that it would be in my intestines. No matter, I am happy with the progress and I march on :)

the deed was done :)

ok boys and girls....well really I hope there are no boys reading this :)
I survived my first round of colonics. I discerned correctly, the woman who does it was great. I really like her. Even though I thought that she was cool over the phone she was even cooler and more normal than I had imagined. :) She said that she gets that from people.
Anyway her little office is off the beaten path but when you go into it it is beautiful. She is great at decorating and it makes you feel at home. It was nice because she is the only one that was there.
I had already filled out a questionnaire, but she asked me lots of questions about what I had eaten and drank that day, questions about my period, do I take probiotics and on and on.
She led me to the bathroom where I was told to put on a frock and proceed to the bed of doom! Oh just kidding, but at that moment I was wondering how it would work because it’s just a normal table looking bed where you are slightly propped up. So I sat down and told her I was ready so she could come it.
she told me all about why I don’t need to worry about the pressure and how it’s not going to hurt me or over stretch my colon (I had never thought about that, It’s funny how sometimes when you are ignorant and people try to put you at ease it can actually cause some fright. But I was fine:)
She showed me the tube that would do the deed and told me how it’s disposable and never re-used and about how she would fill me up and then drain me out. I was asked to roll over onto my side and she inserted into my rear.
She then filled me up which felt very uncomfortable but that was because I had so much gas, I was later told. I never said anything about it though. I just breathed through it, it kind of reminded me of labor.
It took forty five minutes to fill and drain, fill and drain. At one point she filled me up and asked how far I could feel it. I showed her where on my ascending colon and she asked if I was really good in labor. I told her that I was and she  proceeded to tell me that most people would not be that comfortable with that much water having that much gas. Well, I don’t know why I had that much gas but it was a relief to think that it’s not that weird feeling for most. Some people hardly even notice and are talking on their cell phones or typing on their computers, she told me.....People are so weird!!
Anyway, a lot of crap came out (haha) and then she let me go back to the bathroom wearing the absorbent diaper like pad I had been laying on.
She told me that I was a model colonic because so much came out and I did great, so that’s cool. I hope that I am not so gaseous today, she said I need to learn to fart. :)
Anyhow, If you ever get colonics done I would highly recommend Kris Mann, I love her. I want to be her friend. She started doing it because it helped her so much and she wanted to help others. She is very kind and not awkward at all.
Tonight I go in for round two. Wish me providence ;)

P.s. I do feel better today, but it’s hard eating know that she is going to see everything that I ate today. :p, it really makes you accountable for what you eat. Maybe I should get colonics done every day, haha, just kidding.

so it begins...

I am getting super excited about the changes that are about to ensue. In this time it’s important to remember that I want this change because when I get to the detox part it’s hard to walk through. I start to get cranky and feel like it’s unfair that Todd can eat anything he wants...”I can eat anything I want too!”...but, It feels as though when that’s happening by brain is detoxing too and doesn’t really think logically. :) Although, since I have decided to do the colonics I feel much better about it, because it’s supposed to circumvent most of those horrible detox feelings......

I wrote that a couple weeks ago and it’s good to read it today because I am having all “of those horrible detox feelings” :)
This is my third day of preparing for the colonics. I’ve been juicing a lot, eating lots of fruit and drinking aloe vera extract. Also lemon juice in my water and herbal teas.
I am going in this evening at five thirty to get it done...I haven’t really allowed myself to think about it because I just don’t want to go there.
Yesterday was not a fun day, I had a lovely headache and backache from detox. And today I woke up with my very first (and final!!) vaginal yeast infection...oh goody!
It is so ironic that it decided to come today! But, I guess it just makes me more determined that I am doing the right thing even though it’s not fun and can be quite hard. Also the aloe vera extract is terrible. Man, it’s disgusting! I thought that grapefruit-seed extract was bad!
Ok ok, I don’t just want to get on here and complain too much, so I will try and be thankful too. Todd cleaned up the kitchen yesterday for me and that was very sweet of him. It hurt every time I stood up so to have him do that was a blessing.
I’m hoping that after tonight I will feel better. I have another session tomorrow to get the rest out (I guess). I heard that after you do this you get a great high. Well, I’m really looking forward to that high :) It is so crazy to me that what I eat can make me feel this way when I stop. It really grosses me out. We have gotten so far from eating how we were meant to eat.
I was thinking yesterday how God created everything with so much water inside of it. Fruit and vegetables are made up of mostly water. Grains and beans also have lots of water, we actually dry them out so that they can last longer. We are supposed to be hydrated by much more than just water and I think that’s pretty cool. God is so smart.

I know that I didn’t write for a while but that was on purpose because I hadn’t started the  diet yet, now that I am starting the diet I aim to write once a week.
Blessings!

not yet there

So I am in limbo. This is good and bad. The good thing is that I know I am going to commit to this diet in about a month and I can mentally prepare, as well as set myself up for success.
Setting myself up for success looks like making sure my cupboards don't have tempting things in them. But of course, they will have some, because Todd will be eating regularly. Lucky for me the things that he likes to eat aren't that tempting to me. It seems that I have deep longings for chocolate when I have started doing this diet....Which I've discovered, the caffeine in the chocolate as well as the chocolate itself and the sugar of course, feed the yeast...go figure. :)
Setting myself up for success also looks like a good meal plan, I have discovered some yummy things that I like to eat on this diet so that is very helpful.
Some of the hard things about this interim is that I know that I won't be able to eat the things that I, as of this moment, really like. I just made some really yummy chocolate chocolate chip cookies that I altered the recipe so that there would be more chocolate. And of course because I know that I won't be able to have them soon, I ate too many of them. The thing is, I don't usually do this. I have pretty good self control when it comes to eating and such, but since I know that I cannot have them soon something inside of me feels broken. It's like a poverty thing, I know that I won't have them later so I figure I should stock up now? Well it sure makes for feeling pretty sick in the meantime. :p
But, in truth, I am very excited about starting. I am excited about the fact that after the initial detox I will feel better. I love how I feel in the morning when I am eating that way. Waking up is very easy and I don't have a sugar/food hangover. I am even excited about doing colonics. Yep, you read right, in order to really get well, so they say, I have to let someone stick a tube in my behind and pump water through my intestines...sounds, um, well, interesting to say the least. Have to no fear, I will tell you all about it. :) I have already talked to the lady and she actually has done the Body Ecology Diet, for two years. I have only talked to her on the phone but she already has favor with me so that feels good.
The other part of this whole thing that I am excited about, is that I really feel like my will is going to be strengthened. I feel like I lead a very good life and am quite happy. But!, I have been noticing, that perhaps I have been growing flabby with my will. I don't know how often I set out to do something and just do it, all the way through. Easy or hard, sticking it out. I want to say yes to this, commit myself fully and see how the universe responds. God has shown me that he is going to meet me and strengthen me through all of this and I can't wait to see what that looks like. I can't wait to see myself on the other side!

how i arrived at this place

When Noah was two weeks old I realized that she had yeast. I asked some questions, got some gentian violet to help out, and also some monistat 7. It helped some, but would leave and come back and so forth. About a week later I had weird pains in my chest while nursing. It would shoot into my armpit and around into my back. I looked it up online (good ol' Google) and found out that I too had yeast...poo.

Well, not a problem! I started applying the gentian violet too and thought it should be gone within three days. I also got some grapeseed oil extract and was taking that bitter stuff daily, as well as drinking the juice of two lemons daily to try and get my ph level balanced. The gentian violet did help the major pain of it go away, but I still had burning in my nipple. And Noah still had off-and-on yeasty buns.
I've done tons of reading, talking with people, and praying. I have finally come to the conclusion that yeast isn't this thing that can easily be treated topically and remedied, but is indeed alive and well inside my gut :p.
I learned that yeast is actually something that is good but only in small amounts.  When you have a yeast infection it's actually a yeast overgrowth. The good bacteria in your gut usually keeps it in check but if for some reason it dies (bad diet, antibiotics, too much stress, too little sleep, taking the pill,...and the list goes on) the yeast has the opportunity to grow. In order to kill the yeast you have to starve it. It feeds on sugars and rotten food in your gut (so glamorous right?:).
My mom showed me a video that lead me to this book called The Body Ecology Diet.  I had already cut out most sugar from my diet but not fruit. After reading this book I cut out dairy (except for fermented dairy and butter), gluten, all forms of sugar (honey, fruit, you name it, except for stevia because that doesn't feed the yeast), most carbs, and I learned all about food combining.
In order to be completely healed you must be on the diet for three months straight without symptoms of yeast. I decided to stop for now because I cannot do the full three months until June. I am starting early June because we are going on vacation and I am not about to try and do this diet while everyone is going to be eating really yummy foods around me :)
Noah is now four-and-a-half months old and we are still fighting this yeasty beast!
I have prayed for healing and feel like the Lord has given me the scripture
James 1:12, "Blessed is the (wo)man who perseveres under trial: for once (s)he has been approved, (s)he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him."
and also James 1:2-4
I know that I am going to be healed but it looks like I get to walk out my healing and learn some spiritual principles as well.
      Thanks for your support :)
